Using a Crosstrainer/Elliptical for Warm-Up

Happy Workout Wednesday! Today we have Exercise Physiologist Matthew Miller (narrated by Brady Schulz) showing you a new variation for your warm-up. Instead of using a treadmill, you can use a cross trainer (also known as an elliptical) to warm up your muscles and get your blood flowing. This exercise is particularly helpful for those who find walking on a treadmill too impactful for their knees or hips. For the purposes of a warm-up, it is encouraged to walk at a moderate, comfortable pace. (High speed and intensive use of this machine is often intended for HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workouts, not for a warm-up.)
