    Dry Land Group Exercise Classes

    Our exercise classes are designed to cater to individuals of all fitness levels and backgrounds. Whether you're a beginner taking your first steps towards a healthier lifestyle or an experienced fitness enthusiast seeking new challenges, our Exercise Physiologists will tailor workouts to suit your goals. You'll find a supportive and inclusive environment where your progress is celebrated, and your potential is unlocked.

  • Hydrotherapy

    Experience the therapeutic benefits of our Hydrotherapy Classes, where water becomes your ally in healing and strengthening. Under the guidance of our trained Exercise Physiologists, you'll engage in gentle exercises in a warm pool. Hydrotherapy is ideal for those seeking relief from joint pain, improved mobility, or rehabilitation. It's a holistic approach to healing, harnessing the properties of water to enhance your physical comfort and well-being.

  • Walking Groups

    Also, every month one of our Exercise Physiologists will meet locals for a quick 30min walk in Lowood and Fernvale, after which they will stop by a local cafe to chat and have a coffee. These walks are suitable for anyone* and any level, they will be low to moderate severity, and allow people to network and build friendships as well as keep healthy and well.

Do you live in or near Lowood, Fernvale or Strathpine, and are interested in joining a group for a weekly exercise class or? It's suitable for anyone* and any level, and our expert Exercise Physiologists will guide you through each step of the way. It's also a great opportunity to meet some people in your community, and enjoy a good start to your day.

The Group Exercise classes are particularly helpful for those who are:

  • At risk of or are living with a chronic disease (e.g. diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, asthma, obesity, Parkinsons, COPD)

  • Elderly community members

  • Wanting to exercise but don’t know where to start or don’t have the motivation

Group Exercise Classes consist of low-moderate intensity focusing on improving general health and wellbeing through stretching, strengthening and cardiovascular activities. Most exercise classes will be in a circuit format to allow the participants to alter their preferred level of intensity at each station. Each exercise can be performed in the participant’s own time and at their chosen intensity as guided by the instructors. The intensity and type of exercises instructed will be in line with the participant’s individual goals and physical capabilities.
