NO BAKE PEANUT BUTTER BROWNIES

Welcome back to #foodiefriday! Who is after some new healthy snacks that also taste delicious? Look no further. We present to you: No Bake Peanut Butter Brownies!

This quick and easy recipe is a must for weekly sweet snacks. You can really make this recipe your own – you can add protein powder for extra protein, you can experiment with different flavours (e.g., lemon and coconut), you can make this into a slice or bliss balls (like the photo above). The possibilities are endless. Let us know in the comments how you made this recipe your own!  

Ingredients: (serves 18 – 1 serve = 20g)

  • 1 cup rolled oats

  • ½ cup natural peanut butter

  • 2tbsp cacao powder

  • ¼ cup maple syrup

  • 2tbsp chia seeds

Method:

1. Add the rolled oats and peanut butter to a blender or Thermomix. Blend thoroughly or until all the oats a much finer.

2. Add the cacao powder, maple syrup and chia seeds and blend until all ingredients are mixed thoroughly.

3. Line a large plastic container with baking paper, and mould the mixture into small balls (~2-3cm in diameter). Once complete, place the container in the fridge to cool. Once they're cooled, they should be less sticky and ready to enjoy!
