Diabetes Related Foot Care - Why It’s Important:

Diabetes can reduce feeling and blood flow in the feet, increasing the risk of:

  • Injuries going unnoticed

  • Detect problems early

  • Keep your feet healthy and safe

Wounds & Infections:

  • Minor diabetes related foot wounds can be booked with podiatry for assessment and basic treatment/dressings

  • Signs of infection (redness spreading, pus, pain, feeling unwell) require urgent medical care at a hospital high-risk foot clinic or Emergency Department

Charcot Foot:

What we can help with:

  • Routine nail care

  • Routine skin care

  • General foot checks

What to Bring to Your Appointment:

  • Your everyday footwear

  • Regularly worn joggers or enclosed shoes for assessment
